The answer to this question is as simple as these are the things that swirl my brain as I woke up from a semi-restful sleep. I was accidently woke up at 5:45am by my loving bf who wanted to make sure I wasn’t late for work. Seems sweet doesn’t it? The problem… I took off today…. Thanks honey…. Zzzz
Wake up: 7:45am
Weigh-in: 257 according to MFP(myfitnesspal) I’m down a total of 15lbs. Well that’s nice :P I guess I would be more excited if I hadn’t been hovering around 257-259 for almost 2 weeks.
I was craving a slightly different taste in my morning mojo this am. I had my normal 16oz of icey water with lemon. For my coffee I decided I wanted a mocha latte from starbucks. There are three problems with that. 1-the closest starbucks is 45mins away 2-that would cost me $5 I don’t have right now 3-the calories would take up all of my am calories. Ahhh the dilemma! Here is my solution:
1 'Diet Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa' packet, 1tsp FF creamer,
and 1 sweetener packet. Stir together and slowly pour in coffee.
Tada! A 'mocha latte'
I went back for a second cup o’ jolt juice this AM and instead of adding extra calories I went ahead and just sprinkled a little cinnamon and sweetener in my cup… yum! Spicy and healthy. Cinnamon is great when watching calories. It does help keep you full (scientificly proven) and it adds tons of taste with out calorie waste!
Now on to breakfast…. I decide I want something filling and light yet highly satisfying.... Here is what I ended up with:

In this small sauce pot there is 1/2cup old fashioned oats, 1scoop vanilla whey protien powder, 1 Tbsp vanilla flavoring, 1tsp cinnamon, 1 Tbsp of chopped raisin, 2cups of water.....
I know that's twice as much liquid as normal but it's really important that you trust me on this one!
Simmer this on low heat for about 8-10minutes it will start to get bubble and rise up. Stir! Once it seems thick turn of and let cool. It will cool more as it thickens!
That then turns in to this:

I tried to take a picture to show you how BIG of a bowel it is, hope this photo does the trick!
I have to give credit where credit is due.... Have you ever heard of Hungry Girl? I so heart her! If you love oatmeal I highly reccomend you google hungry girl growing oatmeal bowl. This is where I learned of doubling the liquid and cooking low and slow! Genius!
After and insanely enjoyable pedicure we hit Panera Bread. Since I knew in advance where we were going I was able to use their websites nutrition calculator to pick and plan the perfect filling meal for me. Pre-planning! My only way to stay right on track!
I went with the pick two combo…. I got the LowFat Chicken noodle soup and the half BBQ chicken salad. (minus the 70 calories of tortilla strips) This totaled 270calories! Not bad at all. I did decide to splurge and eat the wheat bagutte mmm I sooo enjoy bread!
Once home I had little time to get ready for my Faithfully Fit meeting. Faithfully Fit is a great group of Christian women who get together once a week. It revolves around fellowship, support, health, nutrition, exercise, tips, and love. I’m so thankful the girls at my church talked me in to starting this. It has really set me on an amazing path.
While re-reading the chapters for this week I decided I needed a crunchy snack.....

A nice veggie plate! I love volumetrics! If you've never heard of it google it! I had a few cucumber, carrot, and celery sticks with some salsa to spice things up!

Even my baby's love a good veggie plate! My beagle mix will take your finger off for a carrot stick!
Now time for dinner..... Yikes! I didn't want to eat to heavy before my meeting since it envolves a weigh-in... Going to go with a Turkey Bacon sandwich 90 cal bread/120 cal TB and a yogurt.....
Loved having fellowship tonight with my Faithfully Fit group. I am soooo blessed that Jesus moved these people in to my life to impact me in an amazing and positive way. There are a few of us in the group going through a hard time and weight gain. Please pray for out group. Pray that Christ continues to bond us and strengthen us!
Now I'm baking 80 cal cupiecakes for tomorrow nights church dinner! Yikes there is so much filling my life right now and not enough hours in the day! I'm also bring an asian chop salad. That give the girls and I some low cal options.
Praises for the day: Oh it was a full day. I'm so thankful for all the little things that Christ is moving in my life leading me in the right direction. Holding strong in Him daily I know I will make be the Good God Girl He crated!
PS sorry for the weird formatting I don't know what I did, but there is a learning curve to this whole blogging thing!
xoxo

I love this! I feel motivated....too bad I read this AFTER eating those cookies and milk! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to the gym for third time in 5 days! Slowly getting back on track, but I know I can do it! And nothing is impossible if you have faith. :) thanks Jen!
