Back in the saddle again… kinda… sorta…

Good glorious God given morning!
Wake-up: late… why do I even put this I run further and further behind every day! I finally was able to shake off the sleepies at 6am….
Here is how my day went…. Wake-up/ shower/ hair/ coffee/ make-up/ clothing/ make shake/ pack lunch/ drive to work/ drink shake while driving/ get to office/  get water/ work very hard to catch up/ eat apple/ take a 10minute walk/ eat a yogurt/ work/ lunch/ work/ snack/ work/ gym/ mom’s house/ steal veggies from mom’s garden/ drive home/ cook dinner/ do dishes/ log food/ type blog/ shower/ BED!!!!!!! I’m beat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shake: I found that the delicious FRS canned energy drink I sooo love comes in a concentrate.  I mixed 1/4cup of the peach mango with 1 scoop whey protein + ice and water



Apple: Large and delicious… I love apples and am going to attempt to start eating 1 every day.  They are so filling and full of great fiber and vitamins.
Yogurt: I’m experimenting with different ways to eat plain non-fat greek yogurt…. Today I mixed a yogurt with two tablespoons of SF smucker’s strawberry jam mixed in.  It made it sweet and fruity but not quite sweet enough…. Maybe next time I’ll add a little sweetener to the mix!


Lunch: Today was a helping of my Lentil Soup (see yesterday for recipe) along with 1 serving of cracker crisps in the zesty tomato variety from Aldi’s.

Snack: This is where it gets a little weird… I wasn’t in the mood for any of my normal snacks… I ended up just eating some PB on a spoon… that’s right you know you’ve done it!

Gym:

After the gym I needed to run to my mother’s house… while I was there I indulged in a little candy… I know I know… candy?!?! What? That’s right I burned the calories I’ll eat them how I want! I had two Hershey’s drops and 8 spice drops…. I then raided her veggie garden… It’s now started to dwindle down which is sad… I ended up with this:

Once I got home I decided to put good use of those veggies and I made a salad:

This had tomatoes, cucumber, light Italian dressing, salad supreme seasoning, and a bit of parmesan cheese.  On my boyfriends I also added some turkey pepperoni and bacon bits.
After our salads we had an eggplant parmesan (from frozen) and some asiago and spinach chicken sausages from Sam’s Club. Not the best of meals but it was after 7:30p when I started cooking! Yikes!



Water: Today I tried to consume some extra water as I feel I need to ‘detox’ my body.  I had several large glasses of water, 1 cup of coffee with 2 TBSP of creamer, 3 cups of green tea, and 2 glasses of WaWa brand diet iced tea lemonade.

I love this Iced Tea if I could find a way to have a case shipped every month I would!

I’m still playing catch up and trying to get back in to the swing of things so please continue to bear with me!
Praises: Oh Lord today I’m thankful for the gym! I know that seems silly, but my body needed a serious work out! I’m sore today so I know it’s been too long in between.  This is your temple Lord may I keep the vessel in which your work is to be done in tip top shape! Also I’m thankful for my friends who continue to support and encourage me every step and stumble of the way.
