Good God given glorious morning! Woke up with a smile on my face thankful for the breath God gave me to breath this morning!
Wake-up: 5:40am! Yay! Up on time on a Friday! God is good!
Coffee: 1 TBSP SF creamer+ 2 sweeteners+ cinnamon
Smoothie: 1 scoop of vanilla whey protein + 1tsp orange SF Metamucil + 1 6oz Dannon Light Fit Vanilla Yogurt +6 ice cubes and 1 cup of ice water
Breakfast: 2 whole wheat waffles with 2TBSP of SF jelly
My boss brought in 3 tempting boxes of donuts, but I resisted and although I looked I sniffed I didn’t touch and I certainly didn’t take!
Snack: 2 cups of watermelon
Here’s where my day begins to get tricky. I had brought lunch. But my company provided a boxed lunch from Panera Bread. I love Panera. I decided to make my calorie splurge day today instead of the normal Sunday. That’s right 1 day a week I do a calorie splurge. I still try to keep it healthy but I go over by 500-1000 calories. They do this on the biggest loser and a lot of people who weight train do it as well. I’m not saying its right for everyone but for me it’s nice to know that one day a week I can eat what I want! Next wks will be Sat because we are going to a theme park… More on that later….
Lunch: 1 Tuscan veggie sandwich, 1 sliver of cake, 1/3 of a shortbread cookie, and there was an apple in the box but I was full after I finished the sandwich. I probably should have skipped the cake and cookie and had the apple…. But seriously the cake was my favorite cake…..
It was like opening a Christmas gift.......
Neatly wrapped sandwich, apple, cookie, and pesto hummus
Oh this was amazing Sundried tomato bread, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, roasted red pepper, feta cheese, and a hummus spread. AH-MAZING!
WOW dats a big cookie!
An end piece really?
What I cut off for me to eat. :) Semi-good!
Afternoon snack: None! I was still stuffed!
There were tons of boxed lunches left so I grabbed two and so instead of having to cook dinner tonight we got a treat for dinner. I grabbed a veggie and a roast beef…
I skipped the gym…. Went home… Dinner: I ate ½ of a veggie sandwich and half of a roast beef…. I also ate 1/3 of a chocolate chip cookie and 1/3 of an oatmeal cookie….
For the sake of honesty here are my calories for the day:
| Totals | 2,145 | 336 | 65 | 84 | |
| Your Daily Goal | 1,280 | 176 | 43 | 48 | |
| Remaining | -865 | -160 | -22 | -36 | |
| Calories | Carbs | Fat | Protein |
And then went shoe shopping. I’ve been looking for a new pair of running/gym shoes for a while and haven’t found any… Tonight I decided on these:
After finding the shoes my BF and I went to get a few groceries for the week. I should never take him shopping with me. It always spells disaster. He always wants junky foods or high calories foods. The sad thing is he is as thin as a rail. But here is something you need to know thin does not equal healthy! That is what I’m trying to get across to others. Although I’m not thin I try my best to eat healthy and live a healthy life style. I quit smoking several months ago, try to get a decent amount of exercise, and eat healthy 80% of the time. Even today although I went above my calories other then the sliver of cake and few pieces of cookie I ate healthy foods. At the store I bought some low cal breakfast sandwiches, baked chips, new lunch box containers, some low cal frozen treats, and of course Ed bought some chili cheese fritos **eye roll**
After putting the groceries away I was completely exhausted! Shopping is hard work! Can I count that as calories lost through exercise? I’ve facebooked, I’ve blogged, I need to write a lesson plan for Sunday’s kids bible study I have no clue what I’m doing. Ok I have somewhat of a clue, but it’s definitely a case of I bit of more than I can chew! Smaller bites next time! Don’t tell my church people that… shhh Tiff I know you’re reading this don’t tell on me that I’m in over my head! LoL I figure I’ll wing it God won’t let me mess up too bad and since it’s only a few kids they won’t know I’m dumb J
Praises: I know this will sound silly but I’m soooo thankful to the Lord for giving me everything I have in life no matter how great or small. I know that he made it possible financially for me to buy the shoes I desperately needed and put a shoe store in our po-dunk rinky dink mall. I also feel Him moving in my life daily leading me down the right path, putting people in my life to love and support me, and giving me all His love. Well I guess He always gave me all His love I just never accepted it. Thank you Lord for a company that appreciates it’s employees and treats us well. I have a big and exciting day tomorrow. Please pray everything goes as smoothly as I have it planned! Yikes!
XOXO
