Caution pictures of my delicious dinner may make you drool!


Woot woot! What a good morning! I woke up feeling like a lion *roar* by God’s grace I spent the rest of my morning like a happy little lamb!
Wake-up: 5:15am (you you read that right up early!)
Water! Work-out! Ok now I know I had big ol’ dreams n hopes to get up and do this whole big kettle bell work out and it being amazing.  Well it didn’t exactly happen that way… I got through the first 8minutes! It was insanely hard and my heart was racing!  This is where I began to feel great! Now I see why people like to exercise in the morning. I mean for the first minute I was forcing myself but then my blood began to pump and I really got in to it.  Although I didn’t complete the whole 30 minutes I liked it.  I will keep working at it until I am able to do the whole routine.
Shower….make-up…. Hair… clothing….
Coffee-2 sweeteners, 1TBSP creamer, dash of cinnamon I’m really loving my coffee that way the past couple of days.
Check facebook, Make breakfast, pack snacks and lunch, refill water and rush out the door…drive….work…
Breakfast: Fall in love with a completely different way to make your morning oatmeal! I love to do a cold oatmeal cereal.  Take either two packets of flavored oatmeal or 1/2cup of old fashioned oats and let sit in 1 cup of cold milk.  For instant packets this will only take an hour or so for old fashioned oats I like to do it over night…. Then the blissful oatmeal magic occurs…..My breakfast this morning: 2 packs of blueberry oatmeal with 1cup of skim milk.  I let this set for about an hour and oh was it a cold tasty treat at my desk!
make a cup of tea… drink tea… work… drink water… take a break!
Break: I decided to mix it up today! I went for a short 10minute walk around the building
Snack1: small green apple and 6oz Dannon Light & Fit vanilla yogurt.  (I dipped my apple in the yogurt)
Work… water…. Work… water….tea… work… LUNCH!
Lunch: I am sooo uncreative these days! Guess what I have today??? TUNA! AKKKK! Today I did manage to make tuna salad instead of eating it directly from a pouch! I mixed in 1TBSP light miracle whip (50cal) and a teaspoon of spicy brown mustard. I had two slices of SaraLee 45 calorie multigrain bread (toasted) and 2cups raw veggies/carrots/celery/cucumbers with Bolthouse Honey Mustard Dressing for dipping.  Tomorrow I have to have something different!
Over the weekend I’m going to make something to bring all next week for lunch I just haven’t decided what yet…. Chicken stew? Maybe…..
Work..water….work….water…break!
Snack2: The majority of a 100calorie popcorn.
Work…water… work… get in car… drive to gym… work out!
Work out:
30 minutes on the treadmill not as good of a time as yesterday, but everyday can’t be a grand accomplishment!
15 minutes on the bike I did a total of 2 miles!
Drag self from gym to the car…. Sit in car willing it to start and drive the 45 min commute home…. Give up on that… drive…. Finish making dinner….
Recipe Alert: The simplest and amazing crock-pot chicken.  Ok one of them I have tons of crock-pot chicken recipes! Tonight’s dinner was 2 insanely large chicken breasts 21oz total, 4 cups of Kroger’s Mirepoix blend (celery, carrots, and onions), and 1 can of 98% Fat Free cream of chicken soup… mix together in crock pot with a ½ cup of water… sprinkle with a little pepper…. let the magic happen… 8hrs on low… shred chicken with 2 forks….stir in 2 cups frozen peas…. And eat! This serves 4 for about 265 calories a serving!
Dinner: ¼ of the above recipe, 2 cups of green beans, 1/2 cup instant mashed taters made with mostly water and a touch of skim milk…. Ohhhhhh sooooo tasty and such little effort!

I have enough calories left that I may have a snack I haven’t decided yet but I’m craving some ice cream…. What sound does a skinny cow make? Moooo oooo oooo ooooo oooooo!

Praises: So thankful today that the Lord gave me the strength to wake up early and start my day on a good note.  I had an awesome and blessed day.  Someone asked me today why I was so happy and I just told them I’m loving my life.  It’s all because the Lord has moved things in my life and I believe I’m in a spring season in my life right now and it’s only going to get better!
