WootWoot! Rise n shine! Or in my case Rise and rumble!
I’m always rumbly and grumbly when I wake up in the am!
Wake up: 5:50am
Coffee: 1 cup with 2 sweeteners and 1TBSP creamer
Breakfast: Not packed! Utoh! WHAT!?! Just kidding work has it covered today. They had told us last week that they would provide us with a continental breakfast. I was a little leery so to be on the safe side I threw two packets of oatmeal in my bag. Now I’m all about preparing for the unplanned food event. Luckily the new company that purchased us didn’t do too shabby of a job on the breakfast. Here were the choices: Juices, water, danishes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, granola bars, fruit cups, yogurts, fiber one bars/brownies, nutria-grain bars, bagels, breads, and english muffins. Luckily I made a smart choice right from the start!
I brought a co-worker who I know is a relatively healthy eater and who knows to hold me accountable. Ah yes sweet accountability someone to give me a dirty look if my hand reaches for the wrong choice. With judging eyes upon me here is how I did:
Water(not pictured), 1 vanilla Activia , 1 4oz fruit cup, 1 bagel w 1 tsp of butter, and although pictured the nutra-grain bar was not consumed but it along with a few friends were stashed in my desk drawer for possible future emergencies!
Thank you Jesus for keeping my strong and keeping my hands off the muffins! Thanks to the new company I had a relatively filling and healthy breakfast!
Snack1: 1.5cups of Sugar Free Strawberry Jell-o
Lunch: Today’s lunch was filling and satisfying. I ate a very large piece of the ‘TurkeyLoaf’ I had made on Saturday along with two slices of SaraLee 45cal bread, and 2 cups of mixed fruit left over from the picnic!
Snack2: ½ bag of 100 calorie popcorn
Dinner: ½ of a bag of Taylor Farm’s Asian Chopped Salad.
Snack3: 1 ‘diet’ cupcake (consumed at weight loss meeting)
Water: Spot on! Way over my 125oz goal! At least we know that I’m well hydrated!
Tonight was another Faithfully Fit meeting! I’m so thankful I have such an amazing group of women in my life! I’m down 3 lbs according to their scales from last week’s gain of a pound = total loss of 2lbs! woot woot! I had made my ‘diet’ cupcakes and they went over really well. At tonight’s meeting something that really hit home with me was on the video “Made to Crave” –Lisa T (the speaker) said ‘if you are going to eat it and feel guilty then it is not from faith if it’s not from faith it is from sin! ‘ Now ain’t that the truth! We played a round of kickball. We had two injuries L please pray for the victims of the giant blue ball and the sticky floor!
Praises: I’m learning more and more each day the Christ is moving my life adding and subtracting people, changing circumstances, and giving me everything I need to be exactly where I am!
xoxo

You did well Chubby Christian Chick, but I would like to see you eating better carbs.Example instead of the bagel try 1/2 cp old fashion oats. Not the instant kind they have too much sugar, and add you 1/4 cp of berries and splenda or stevia preffered to your oats to taste. Then for lunch A BIG SALAD with no fat italian dressing,or Chicken or fish with lots of veggies and spray butter.I think if you will make better carb choices. You will feel better and the weight will come off faster. Are you getting any exercise in? Good job on your water intake!!!
